a very well-done animation, and the whole movement was fluid, the theme was alright, the movie had that ''yatzee'' feeling, but still, no matter how cool it is, i wonder, why making a remake on something that's already being made?
i really enjoyed this, but you could do a series with YOU as the character, and YOU reviewing something. it could be cool. i would view this.

you have the skills, you have the talent. try making somethign that is more ''you'' and less yatzee, if you get my drift.
it's good, dont take me wrong, and your animating skills are great, but still, do a series on something that represents you. what defines you? show it to us.
you rock man, you have great skills, and i have great expectations from you.
just take the leap, and try on somethign original, no matter how crazy it may seem.

dont get angry at me, ok? dont hate me. i just say that for your skills, it would be bad to see them stay still on the hill.

keep it up!

kdanielss responds:

These words should be set in stone. You're absolutly right but the reason made this (and the second remake) was because I was inspired nted. I have ideas for "original" materials and I might be lacking the drive. And no, I don't hate you.

OMG SONIC!!! it's so great, i wonder what will happen next!
btw, did you used your own sprites, or some from an appropriate site?
also, was this on FBF, or via tweens?

i would also like to know what's your main thoughts about the story. give us a little background.
good film.

Payn responds:

I did not use my own sprites, I got them from various sites and people.
This movie was an FBF, but in my next one I'll be using tweens aswell.

Sonic had gone forth in time, and finds shocking news about some of his friends, everything is different, and Sonic will train and become stronger to save the day once again. That's all I can say for now I'm afraid. If you want to know more, you can find Episode 1 of Sonic Time Travels in my channel. There might be some clues of what's going to happen.

seriously, despite my dislike for some video-gaming parodies, this one was good. and i LIKED IT.
very nice design, it reminded me of the ''adventure time'', and it was p. epic, and it also had some very funny moments in it.

i like how you nailed the intro perfectly; very good job.

keep it up, and make it into a series. it will work.

well, i KNOW this movie has less reviews than it should, less votes than it should,a nd less attention than it should have, but still, 4 stars out of five? a daily 4rth?
not bad, my good friend, not bad at all.
many NG users out there, would beg to get such a score, and the daily 4rth award, and so much praise, from everyone (me included ofc).
so, it's a great score! don't feel down, and stop saying to yourself that your movie ''isn't good'' , that
''it''s an old thing'' , or that ''it's bad, and i would abandon it if it took me any longer.''
IT'S GREAT! and it's a shame so few people have reviewed it. more people shoudl review your movies, and esecially this one, your SHFT stuff, and your spiderman WOO! dubs, which i absolutelly love.

also, it's a shame that i haven't reviewed this yet, despite having reviewed about the 99,9% of your stuff, but in the beggining, the movie, no matter how well-designed, well-drawn, and how perfect and flawless it was, it had a strange...vibe in it. a dark mood, a bad feeling, so to speak.
it gave me a bit of the creeps.
and in the end, the (SPOILERS) death of tom by the joker (SPOILERS) was the final straw for me, since it creeped the hell out of me (no matter how joker-accurate) and it prevented me from reviewing, since i thought that tom, wade and all the staff would delete it from the movie stash, and they would possibly ban you, and everyone who would review this movie positively.
thankfully, NG and tom have a great sense of humour, and so, after the dust settled, i started to enjoy the movie for what it was- a great demonstration of joker's madness, and sheer insanity, and how the unexpected ending (joker winning, despite all the odds), just made it -slightly-hillarious.
(i mean, seeing batman being all like ''WTF? HE WON?! he did his crime?! how could i fail?'' was kinda funny, and odd.

ofcourse, i would review this movie on 2009-2010, as i scheduled, but due to many school crap, personal stuff, and your dissapearrance, i had to postpone it for a moment that i would find time.
then, a long time later, when i finally ahd the time, i absolutelly forgot that i had to review this great movie of yours, and i havent done it.
but now, i rectify this mistake.

SO! let's say about the movie, in a short summary (since my previous part already explains that this is a great movie already):

VISUALS: great, i mean, this has the exact drawings/style/animation as the old (and GOOD) animated batman series, back when the batman cartoons had some quallity in story and style.
tho, i will admit, that i still enjoy batman gtoons, even the ''new'' ones.
still, you managed to portray the movements, the style and the faces/movement/character profiles/fighting /battle scenes(i mean the one where batman fights joker and the dogs, is truly great, you nailed it on that one) are truly great, flawless.

STYLE: exactly like the one you aimed for. the old, classic batman cartoons, with the gimmicky catch-phrazes, and the insanely epic fighting scenes. if someone confuses this with the newer batman-cartoons, or with nolan's movie, then tehy clearly havent seen the animated series.
you nailed it.

SOUND: not surprisingly, you did EXCELLLENT in there too. you got the voices just right, and while i assume that you did the voices of the joker(perfectly) , the batman (very well-done, esp. the rough voice part), and of the hyena's (i think?), im am scared to ask: who did the voice of harley? (the assistant of joker in this.)
and if you DIDNT do the voices, WHO did them? please, answer me that, it riddles me for a long time.
(haha, riddles. and i didn't even TRY for a pun, seriously).

the music, was good.
and the sound-effects, were very well-done.

HUMOUR: excellent, and the irony/unexpected end at the ending, was truly great. i didnt get it as i should in 08, but once the shock faded(due to the violence) a few minutes later, i got it, and it was epic.

it's extreme humour, but it's like joker. always horrifying, yet sometimes funny.

so, what you have here, is a great cartoon, and i think you should do more, no matter how teddious or tiring, this may seem.
because you have the skills, and you've got the talent, and because it would be a darn shame to see you getting replacing by some anime-loving, naruto-guy, who would make the 110th episode of naruto with sonic-in a DBZ fight movie, with a guest star from super-mario.

so,we count at you. godspeed.

i know i wrote too much, but if you know how much i appreciate your work,s and your great talent, you will read at least some lines from it. maybe you''ll even answer to me about who did the voices in the voice-acting part, who knows!

good movie, overall, keep it up, bro! do more!

well, despite the odd humour, and the obvious inside-joke fashion, i think that this is a GOOD cartoon. i mean, the animation is pretty fluid, and the charcaters are original, and quircky, which is fun.

also, the reason on why i voted five is that the characters are VERY original,a nd well-designed, but hillarious as well.
why is the duck so evil/stoned? what's it's purpose?
and why is the moustache man always naked? or is he just not wearing a shirt?
odd.

also, i can understand a bit of the language, so the guy says:
guy: ''duck, are you OK?''
guy: ''i would like a bag so much right now!''
duck: ''here. paper-bag....'' (shows a ketchup-stained bag)
guy: ''AHHHHH!!!''

that's it. but it's funny, and has potential, so, next time, add a preloader, keep the same, and maybe add more characters, and make a plot that won't be as an''inside-joke'' as this one ahs been.

ok? good flash, nontheless.

antreas-animations responds:

Wow thanks! You guessed the dialogue right! The naked moustache guy is supposed to be doland's(The evil duck)best friend/lover! Thank you very much for your positive review! They're extremely poor that's why the man is always naked! (he is not completely naked-The only thing he wears all the time is a green speedo with orange flowers )

well, a greta cartoon overall, and it was hilalrious when wrench-clock shot the guys and flew in space. the music in this was also great.

as for WHAT could happen?
ushanka goes in space with their disco ball-spaceship, and travels in many planets, including the discoland, where he meets many girls, and then in technoland, where he chills with some robots, and then, he gets into the pube-planet, where he helps them get rid of a crab-clcok infestation, and becomes an honorary pube-citizen, by pube-muppet himself!
he then goes on to yet an another trip, but he is chased off by steak clock(which IS an alien) and his ship crushes on an lonely planet. TO BE CONTINUED.
good?

a really well-done animation, a great cartoon, and i loved the whole expressions, and the swift movements of the characters, but i have to ask:
is this a story that looks like the matrix? is it something that occurs in a time long after the lolcats series has ended?
because it seems to be happening in a different realm than the one of the original ''lolcats'', and it's a bit confusing.

tho, it's good, dont let my confusion fool you, it's great, and if you can make more like this, i will be pleased (as well as 100000 people in here, too)
tho, i think it would be nice to give us a haeds-up on the story,a nd what is going on, more or less.
is this ''evil cat'' (i dont know his name, so im gonna just call him ''hell-cat'') the ruler os the bad guyhs in the lolcat world?
and why did he captured the classy happy-cat? what's his plan?
will he kidnap all the lolcats in the universe, including the ordinary-cat, like orion?
hmmm.... this eems interesting, tho.
i can suggest more ''lolcats'' if you desire, so that you can add more to the storyline.

anyway, you got a tv-deal? great! i hope that you will get your sereies on tv,i really do, because it's really funny, man!

also: i liked the opening scene, the dancing on neon lights, totally reminded me of teh matrix, the title helped too, i won't lie, also the scene where the milk was raining in the club, reminded me of the ''blade'' vampire movie, which had a similar scene.

so, all in all, it was good, great animation, good story(even if vague for now) and fun dialogue.
keep it up, and keep us updated.

jiggitysmith responds:

Basically I made this in my spare time while unemployed. The story is more of a modernized stylistic gritty reboot of the original, so no, it doesn't happen on a different timeline or anything of that sort. I never got a tv deal, though I would have hoped for one if I had completed this story like I had intended.

It's been so long that I've thought of this series, I'll try my best to summarize some of my intentions as I can barely remember. Endcat set up the altercation with the lolrus and cookie cat in order to steal the bucket, which contained the (captain planet) rings to summon al gore (the architect). He swapped out happycat with the doppleganger to get the staff of ether maybe, I forget (plus 'evil happy cat' is just a funny concept to me)

The basic formula to this story was that longcat was the power of good, channeled through ceiling cat, tacgnol was the power of evil, channeled through endcat, and orion was the balancing power of neutrality (hence why he's so boring, regular, and doesn't seem to sway in either direction unless the balance of power is disrupted). It goes back further, though, as orion was/is just beta testing by al gore and the internet was rebooted several times after several catnaroks (good and evil just fought with each other, too much good was boring - think of a story with no conflicts, too much evil was, evil).

The underlying message was going to show just how neutrality was necessary for the internet as a regulator. Endcat and ceiling cat were aware of these reboots, however, and it drove him mad, so endcat needed the staff of ether and the rings of power in order to drop the 'fire wall' (also a legitimate ring of fire around catopia) to get out of catopia / leave it exposed and go into the real world, then he could avoid the reboots.

The cookie cat / pedro sidestory is that cookie cat could see into the future (to the point where he would constantly rub his shoulder to see if what he was seeing was actually real) and was commissioned by the king to help figure out what endcat was doing. In the end, endcat does make it out and takes over google, ending the series with the company motto written as 'be evil,' then he thinks, "oh yeah, lie" or something and writes "don't" in front of the motto. The other effect that happens is that, because the firewall is down, the lolcats get released into the full-blown internet and people (Besides al gore) discover them for the first time, hence why we have them in the first place.

I have a notebook with most of it written out somewhere, but a lot of it wasn't formulated around the time I realized there was no way I was ever going to finish this. I was too big of a perfectionist at this stage in my animating and I wanted to make the whole thing as polished as what you see here and I really don't have time to ever finish the series, considering how little interest there was in the reboot (and having a wife and house that requires me to play handyman).

I hope to one day return to animating when I have more time, but I doubt if I'll ever return to the cats. As you can see, it would have eventually made sense in episodes 3+, but I went all quentin tarrintino on the editing and what I could get done before working again doesn't make sense on the surface. Hope you enjoyed what I made, I'm pretty darn proud of the stylistic animating I churned out, but I basically got to the point where learning to draw to convey the visions in my head wound up being the easier-to-attain route.

you know, one of those days, we're gonna rise again, and zombie your ass down, guys!
lol jk
good movie guys, i loved the visuals, made by cheese steak clock, you have a very unique style and it's pretty special, so keep it like that. i also liked the ending ''walking cheesesteak-clock'' scene. he seemed to be walking with his -bread-feet-!! also
the idea of the story, and the script made by patriot clock was hillarious, so yeah, it was well-done.

also sarez was cool.
great animation, keep it up, and do more! thanks for the cameo! oh yeah

cool, but you should also make a game like that.
good animation, do more.

SavvyOverDog responds:

Wat. You serious? I dunno..maybe x.x

ok, he's a good actor, but he's not THAT pretty or THAT charming.
tho, the driver movie was good. no, it was GREAT.

also, this movie was good and entertaining.
do more. good animation style, i liked it.

JamiePaulSmith responds:
